Sadly, Dave Degens passed away yesterday, a well-known figure in racing circles, and for building some of the best Tritons. RIP from an ageing Rocker.

RIP Mr Degans. Heard so many stories of your ventures. For motorcycling and all of us you will be sadly missed. Have a great time in Heaven and get some great bikes for all of us to ride later on.

A good few years ago I wrote to Dave Degans about bringing my old Tbird back to life. No answer was received so eventually I rang him. Suffice to say that at the end of the conversation there was no way that I would have entrusted the refurbishment of my machine to such a person.
