Hi all, kinda newbie who has been riding his Tiger 800 xRx, mostly around Wales for the last 4 years. Currently it is poorly (stuttering & flat acceleration) being looked at by a friendly local mechanic. I have already picked up a couple more things to try from this forum. And will post some pics as soon as I figure out how.....

@Moondog Lovely bike great colour. And i do like that Honda CB500 I just got myself one to run around on in the not so nice weather.
Yeah CB500s are great, cheap and reliable despite the all too common neglected servicing schedule. I had one about 10 years ago when I returned to riding after a 20 year rest. I have recommended to a few new riders as a first 'big' bike that you don't mind denting.
I think I read somewhere that the adventure begins where the road ends..... probably on a T shirt. In my case the misadventure has often started there too.
Down near Cardigan. A favourite circuit for a quick blast and a shot of two wheel cure, is from there, Fishguard, St Davids, Haverford, Eglwyswrw..... with variations to include Wolfscastle, Maenclochog, Narberth. Some great roads.
Quick update, My trusty steed is back on the road! Woohoo.... I have missed it so much this last month or so. Fingers crossed for a fine day on Saturday for a ride out.
