Hi all just after a little help, I runs Thunderbird trike, and cannot remove the screws from the clutch reservoir cover, RAC breakdown patrol suggested using an impact driver, but not sure if this would be,a safe option, have tried the old penetrating oil (WD40) but no joy.

I'm no expert but I'd certainly not recommend using an impact driver ... unless
    • the resevoir is off the bike; is supported at the sides and underneath, and is held firmly somehow with soft material. I,m fairly sure the resevoir will be cast alloy and, therefore quite brittle - be patient and be gentle or be prepared to buy another resevoir!
    • you're using a proper JIS bit or driver (I think the cap screws are JIS type not Phillips or Pozidrive). If you don't have JIS drivers get a set, you'll save a lot of aggro in time https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yrsssa-T-H...eywords=jis+screwdriver&qid=1767999816&sr=8-9
Good luck. Hope you get it sorted.
