    Greetings all.

Been riding Hondas for decades and finally pulled the trigger on my first Brit bike, a gorgeous '72 Daytona with 1,500 total miles on it. Should arrive in a few weeks. Seller has provided videos showing great sound, good shifting throughout, seems to run really nicely. Can't wait for it to show up.

I'm no mechanic. I'd love any advice on first steps once it arrives. Would love advice on websites or books that can help me get up to speed on my new baby. Plan is to jump in with both feet.

    Thanks all.

@TexasGator Seems you have got a real gem of a bike. The first i personally would do is change the oils and brake fuudids if applicable. Do tap the upload a file button and show it of so we can have a smile on our faces as well. If you intend to use check the tyres or as you Brothers say tires and brakes. Clutch will probably need freeing up and drive chain looking at and oiling.
