Sorry if this question is not in the proper thread. I need advice on removing the front wheel on my 2013 Thruxton. I have spools to raise the rear wheel, but flummoxed as to raising the front wheel off of the ground. The left side down pipe is closer to the ground than the frame. Asking because I need to service the forks due to a leaking fork seal. The frame on the 2016+ Thruxtons are different, so looking for input on the 2015's and earlier.

You need something like this ...

I'm NOT saying that this one will be the right size or will definitely fit but this type of headstock stand should enable front wheel - and, hopefully front forks with a bit of imaginitive manouevering - removal, so some specific research on your side of the pond may be necessary.

    Took the poor man's route.

    Bike on side stand
Loosened axle nut, fork clamp bolt and upper + lower bolts
Floor jack under right frame rail
    Wood blocks to stabilize.
Then proceeded to front wheel off and fork seal overhaul.
    All good.
