Yes it’s a great thread so don’t worry, you’re just someone who has a passion for bikes and the wherewithal to fulfil their dreams.

The new (to me) machine will be here in a day or two. I'll post up some pics then, but I can tell you someone's guess here is just about bang on. Sorry, as before there are no prizes. I'm hoping to get a few rides in before the Autumn rains and general sh** weather takes over once more.

Well no sorry, but if there was you'd have won Mrs V.

    Without further ado............

Its full title is MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR America (bit of a gob full). I had a brief ride after it was delivered and I'm really chuffed with it. It seems very small and compact, the throttle map is a bit twitchy, but I haven't played around with it yet, apparently there are two maps. I had to break off the fun to go to the Dentist where I've just had to have a tooth removed so its been a pleasure and pain day. 20250908_131325(1).jpg

Wow, @johne, that is a beauty! Congratulations on your new bike. I think MV Agusta's are like jewelry...jewelry you can ride and very fast at that! :) I hope your dental issue is much better by now. Just looked at the date of your post. Have fun with that Brutale. :grinning:

Just over a year ago, I started this thread when I bought the 998 Ducati Final Edition. It was a bit of a rose tinted glasses purchase, but it is a cracking bike, though I say so myself and I had some fun riding it last summer with the glorious weather we enjoyed back then. I decided after the riding season ended that I'd probably part with it, as an old shoulder injury was making it difficult to ride more than a few miles due to the full on sports riding position. Part of me wanted to keep it, even if it meant spending most of its life sat in my dining room, but the logical solution was to sell it and let someone else have the enjoyment of owning and riding it. So its now being serviced, prior to going to a new home. I hope the new owner has a lot of fun and enjoyment with it. Bye bye Ducati.

MV sure know how to style a bike, who would not want to own one. Enjoy every moment.

That must be a tough bike to let go @johne, however a beautiful machine like that deserves to be ridden, I hope that the new owner cherishes it.

My only complaint, and I don't mind too much, but there are so many Triumph posts!!:laughing::laughing:
