This is my Cotton Triumph 500 long distance trialler converted from a scrambler (Moto-crosser). The frame is a '67 Cotton Cobra uprated by the factory to take the Triumph 500 engine which in this case is a '69 Daytona detuned with 5TA barrels and pistons. Forks are Marzocchis.

These are rare bikes - only around 30 or so were ever built by Cotton and later Nick Brown so if you know of another do tell as the Cotton Owners and Enthusiasts Club are keen to find the whereabouts of the remaining machines.

    Hi Steamerblue,
I've recently purchased a Cotton Triumph 350 and, having found your thread on this Forum, have signed up so I can start to learn more about these bikes.
Mine will be a long term project - I have other jobs on and bikes to prep and sell before I have the space to start on the Triumph - but I am happy right now just to start thinking about some of the work that will be required.

I don't think mine is one of the Cotton made Triumphs, and it was possibly assembled with classic trials in mind. But I hope to be able to use it for occasional road rides and forays along non-too-technical green lanes.

So, if it's OK with you I'd like to be able to contact you and chat about your bike and some of the details (such as a screw on oil filter) that I might like to incorporate on mine.
