@bob1 South Wales for me. We went to Anglesey a couple of years ago. We were lost finding our digs so my son and i went into a pup to get directions. The keeper said its not here. My boy said will we have a drink Dad and ask the keeper for a pint of whatever he had there. He said we don't sell that. So my boy said the other one he had and he replied we don't sell that why don't you go home. In the pup there was five or six younger ones who started sing in Welsh and slating the English. My boy said Dad i think we should go as we did. But the gang followed us out and started slagging us as English Ba------s. I said to my boy enough is enough we are going to get a beating here and walked up to them and said. " you lot got a problem." They replied you're Irish. I said and proud of it. So is my Son there he may speak English but is as Irish as me. They apologised and bought us a drink and wished us luck after giving us directions. When we got to the digs the owner said that is why he was struggling to stay open and these people were ruining it for every one. Not gone back to North Wales since and my boy stopped racing on that track. Just not worth it. But South Wales i found the people warm and friendly.
