I had a similar experience one year at the TT following a mate round on an early morning lap when I ran out of fuel approaching Windy Corner. I was on my first Fireblade so it must've been '93 or '94. That's when I first realised that part of the course through Keppel Gate to Kate's Cottage isn't downhill and I had to push the bike round, then freewheeled down as far as Hillberry. Then it was back to pushing and ended up taking a right turn, which was downhill and brought me out on the road which crosses Bray Hill and the filling station. The 'Blade was a very light bike for it's class but I was absolutely KNACKERED!

    Talking of value for money......

I think someone had their £££'s worth out of this that I removed last week!

Needless to say, it's not off one of my bikes!

I had the RD50MXback in 1983, but for the life of me I can't remember how much I paid for it secondhand. I was earning £44 / week then to try and put those numbers into some real perspective.
