Thruxton 2013 Thruxton 900 - Best Tires

    Just got this 2013 Thruxton 900, which needs some TLC and definmitely some new tirews.

    I have been riding BMW for the last 30 years, this is my first Triumph. On the BMW's, I have been mostly on MICHELIN tires (currently on Michelin Road 6 GT).

    I am however wondering what the best tire for this Thruxton 900 would be and I would appreciate any input.

    I believe Avon have deserted us for foreign fields. Tried to find the same for my Bonneville but no one had stock any more and i tried a lot of places. Can't remember where Avon relocated but remember thinking that's my lot with them as it seemed they were going cheap.

    I have opted for the MICHELIN Road Classics, which I installed this weekend.
    Still too early to tell as the tires have now maybe 40 miles on them and still taking it easy, but so far so good.

    I also like the look of the tire.
