Hi, I’ve come back to riding after a 10 year break. Picked up my new (to me) 2017 street triple rs yesterday.

After a nervy 3 hour drive back home I managed to get out for a short ride and wow this bike is everything I hoped it would be, I am one very happy new owner.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

The only flaw I’d found was the missing suspension tool, but while googling the part number I found posts saying that it would have dropped out and be somewhere near the battery, sure enough, there it was

It’d only covered 3285 miles when I picked it up, an average of just 410 miles a year, I’ll be making up for that hopefully!
The only downside to such low mileage is that the previous owners have managed to preserve the original tyres! It’s obviously never been on a track, again something I plan on changing over summer, Cadwell is calling, but not before its got new boots.
