I have a 2014 Thunderbird LT. The error code P1080 keep reoccurring. The testing device says is a exhaust valve. I take it is a valve on the exhaust system. The engine error light clears at times. My question is what exhaust valve is error table calling out and where is it located.

The valve should be located within a short length of removable exhaust pipe on one side ahead of the silencer. It is operated by a motorised actuator and cable. Probably the valve is sticking and needs cleaning and lubricating or could be the actuator or cable? Have a look at the parts diagram for your bike www.worldoftriumph.com

P1080 on your T-bird LT points to the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve it’s part of the emissions system, not the actual exhaust. Usually tucked near the throttle body or intake manifold.
If it’s sticking or clogged (common with carbon), try cleaning it first. If the light keeps coming back, the valve might be toast. Check wiring/connectors too could just be a dodgy connection.
