My 2011 sprint gt has been a great buy.
I I have got to know it well I wonder whether I could improve the rider positioning a bit more. So I am here for advice.

It came with the simple bar riser conversion already fitted. It's pretty good. But on longer rides my wrists hurt and I think even about 3cm higher and slightly back would make a big difference.

The ABM kit conversion does away with the clip on handlebars and fits a long pipe style handlebar kit. The ABM kit comes with a yoke etc.

Is ABM the right way to go or do people recommend something else?

Does this kit work with the heated grips. Some sources say it does. Some say not.

Are the new bars more prone to vibration?

Is it worth doing for the £300 outlay?

I know, we are all different. I cannot make up my mind so I'm looking for more data.

    Thanks.

@Stu9000 Hope someone comes up trumps for you. But if it helps the wrists go for it. Comfort is every thing.

    Thanks Joe.
Tweaking the bike to fit is part of the journey. I'm in no rush. The bike is great as is.

Hi Stu, I'm in the same boat. Just bought a 2012 Sprint GT and looking for options to fit some flat bars. It's not just the height but the angle of the stock bars that I find difficult.
The ABM top yoke is £250 but that doesn't include the bars, which are another £80. Expensive. The existing top yoke is stepped lower where the OE bars mount and I can't see that some of the other mounts from MOTO-CNC will fit because of this.
I'm thinking, are there top yokes from other Triumph models with the same 43mm forks that would fit and have regular bar mounts ? I did think of the Tiger Sport yoke but they have upside-down forks with much bigger holes in the yoke.
