    Hello fellow Triumph owners.

I just moved to France from the UK and bought my first brand new Triumph 400 Sport.
It came with two thingies, which look like lock barrels, and yes, when I put my key in them, they turn. But what and why are they?
I’d attach a photo but can’t see how….ooh, no, just sussed it. Please see attached images
    Help!

    TIA

Hi and welcome to the forum  - I don't know but would guess they might be spare barrels for future luggage maybe. Someone else will be along shortly to confirm i know nothing no doubt :joy:

What I remember from the Triumph 400 forum is that they are spare locks for Triumph luggage, so that everything works with the one key..... unfortunately the guy who wrote the post said that they didn't fit the top box Triumph supplied (too large a diameter).

They are to fit to luggage. This makes the luggage lock with the same key as the bike.
