Went to the Barton Heliport bike meet tonight on the Tiger with Mrs Boothman. It was the first time this year and there were a fair few there, but noticed the actual veterans building has gone :eyes:

I took advantage of a window in the weather and just did an 80 mile ish round trip to Midwest Moto for a nose at the lovely bikes and kit and to get a coffee and another stamp in the passport. I like coming here because you always get a companion or three when you sit down  ....

Ever since I got the new Moto Guzzi few weeks ago the Speed Triple R was being neglected. So, on Saturday I changed oil and filter for the 6,000 mile service and took it for a little ride today. What a wonderful machine, and I'm glad there's not very much overlap between it and the Moto Guzzi - I almost always have more than one bike in the garage and they're always very different machines.

Went for a ride out into Yorkshire, called off at Dent, it has been a long while since I last visited, so thought I would call on the way to other Yorkshire delights.

    Good morning!
I had a great, exciting but also exhausting offroad-tour with my mate.
The Tiger is so capable, it‘s amazing. In the end the positive terminal rattled off which gave me a bit of shit for the end of the ride but the rest was absolutely amazing. Riding offroad in South Africa is just great!
And: the INSTA360 X5 which I just got new really is an amazing camera.

Just looking, it's still pissing down out there !
Bought some shyte from a cheap shyte shop, ( sort of a walk in Temu ) called V7 De - Rust .. 200ml $2.00, haha .. so gonna have a wee go at the chrome spokes that have got a little rust on the Bonnie ... just the odd one here @ there, was told it's common ? so ... ?
And check the tyres .. twice now the front has lost pressure a bit, and the rear for the first time ?
Sure I seen somewhere (here ? ) others discussing this, with the spoked wheels ?

Yesterday cleaned the bike and polished it then tried the old flasher relay to see if the clock would work again but nope so put the car one back in new correct one should be here in 10 days then lubed the drive chain. Cannot believe the handbook says it's supposed to be done every 300km .......................... Oh well.

Then yesteday evening took her out for a little run ended up in the town down the hill which is 8km from home and decided to stop and have a drink ................ Orange juice Bulgaria is a zero tolerance on alcohol not that a lot of the locals take much notice but I am not risking it that's for sure. Had a chat with some of the locals there was a group of 4 plus the bar person. Despite b
eing here for a few years this is the first time I have actually stopped in the town in the evening and gone to a bar it was a nice bar too will certainly going back. So this morning just went out to clean the bugs off the bike and there were a lot of tiny little ones hundreds and hundreds of them .................... all clean again that's 550km now covered going nowhere!
