Hello!! I'm brand new to the forum so please let me know if I'm in the wrong section or anything. I have a 2017 T120. I am cheating on my wife with her. (humor attempt) I want to install a 1" pair of handlebar risers under the bar. I am wondering if I will have enough cable length? It's only and inch, but my cables seem pretty tight. Especially the brake cables. What do you think?
Is there a way to release more cable, ie are they tied in position? As you say they are tight I very much doubt you will get away with the risers
@Rich Buchanan You can reroute the cables. But like @sprintdave says i think you are not going to get the free play you need and will have to get longer cables.
Hi Rich, I'm unsure if this will help but I had the same issues/worries when looking for a a pair of risers for my 2015 Bonneville Newchurch it looked pretty much impossible to find anything that would fit with the cables etc routed so tight that there wasn't any way to do it without changing them for longer versions. Then I found on eBay a pair that were listed for the Bonneville and also the Enfield 650 Interceptors so I took a chance and bought them. The rest is history they fitted fine and I'm delighted with them they raised the bars 25mm and back about 10mm if I remember correctly. They are MOTONE MTE040 really good quality and easy to fit.................
I installed a Motone riser on my 2024 T120 and the cables are long enough. If not, then re-route them to the other side of the fork leg.
