British customs has redesigned the new shortie slip on mufflers, internal baffle and packing has been changed. I pre ordered a set and they should ship soon. I'll post more info when I get them. I ordered to polished set. I hope they sound as good as the old ones did. Also chain maintenance should be way easier with the shorties.
I have some British Custom pipes on my Thruxton which didn't have a baffle option. They are loud so I've created custom baffles for mine to keep a distinctive tone.
I had reverse cone megaphones on my Triumph 500 back in the 60's/70's and they were sooo loud I put some metal mesh pan scourers in them to quieten them down a bit. Worked great but you could see them glowing red from miles behind!
Well I got the new British customs predator pro shorties 2.0 on. They sound great and they look great. I'm very happy with them.
I've had to take mine off due to MOT issues, I'd be interested to see what you created and also did you have to alter the map?
