Just bought a Trophy 900 1992 and got it cheap but problem is a lovely orange colour to the interior of the tank. Does anyone have a clean inside tank ? Not to worried about colour or scratches. Even a later model with square fuel sender would do. Could probably swap cables and reconnect fuel sender. Looked on e=bay and even expensive ones have some of the dreaded rot inside. Cheers

I did think of that but not done it before and don`t how well it would last. Thought of the POR 15 system. My feeling is though once a rusty tank always a rusty tank and it will come back. Unless someone has used the POR 15 system and can say different. I`m happy to9 give it a try if someone knows it works

Guys, call me cynical but when a new member makes two posts offering different bits and posts an email address straight off the bat, and no other posts, does your spider sense not tingle a bit? ALWAYS do your checks. I could be dead wrong about Apexauto, but l doubt it. @Havit keep an eye on this member's posts ;)

@MightyBoosh With you on that one. A couple of years ago i put an ad on face book for bits for a cb650 mainly plastics. Some chap had every thing i needed. My Tracy looked at the mails and pictures and said you silly sausage those pictures are all from a dealer catalogue. She mailed him and said we would come and pick the bits up. He tried to say it was hard for him to be there but she said no problem we would book in somewhere and he could meet us. Never heard from him again

Decided to go with Spider senses and not going a head with tank purchase. To be honest didn`t see they had only two posts . So lesson learnt and carry on the quest for a decent tank
