#Tiger 1200 Rally Pro. 2023 model. Key less issues. Main fob key issues (Passive key okay) It's been back to the selling dealer four times. Front & rear antenna replaced under warranty. Thought they had finally fixed it in October 2024. Last week, same issue. Main fob key not being recognised, will not turn on ignition. back again to the dealer (still not fixed) Is anyone else having these issues? So frustrated!!!!

Thanks for the reply. I had to call out the RAC and they checked bike battery, fuses & fob key battery. All good. Scratchy head time

What make of battery is in the fob? Duracell can cause issues, I had it with my car. Using Panasonic, energizer and varta seem better

My issue with the Multistrada keyless fob was that it drained the battery very quickly so wouldn't be seen by the bike. I tried many different things with no luck until someone asked where the fob was kept.
It had been kept in a faraday box with any other battery key fobs (car etc). It was suggested that because they were all in together they may be "talking" to each other and draining the battery. I moved it into a separate faraday pouch and problem solved :p

In the key of my former Tiger 1200 (2020) the space of the battery compartment was to "big". I put in a small piece of folded paper to get the pins, which hold the battery, pushed down. "Tata" - with this small "hack" I never had any issues again with the keyless system.;)

The Triumph fob can be turned off by pressing and holding down the Triumph symbol until the little light goes red. So the battery is only being used whilst the bike is being used.
Having said that, a Triumph dealer will/should put in a new battery at the annual service. Mine did anyway.
