    Hi All,

I'm on tour in Ireland and typically, one month after the major 20k mile service, my lucky four leaf clover has run out.

The bike runs hot at 6 blocks while travelling. When stopped it rune really hot, to one block from the top of the temp gauge. Scary.

I've runnthe bike with the radiator cap off and had a few blurts of air and lost a little coolant but symptoms kinda remain.

Stationary, I can run the bike and it'll go right up in temp to one block away from max, both fans run but one side of the bike is hotter than the other (are they two speed fans?). However, the fans do knock the temp back one block at times.

I'm at a bit of a loss and without a Triumph dealer with time on his hands for me, I'm a bit stuck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Gary

Gary, did you ever find a solution to the overheating problem? I am not a frequent flier on this forum but saw this and thought I would check.

    Hiya, thanks for replying.

I kind of didn't, but I ran the bike with the radiator cap off and it got a lot better. It does pop up to about two blocks from the top if idling in traffic, but on a run, it's just another usual 4 or 5 blocks.

The fans are running and it seems much better all round. Not related (probably) but I'm just charging a new battery for it as well :)
