Featured Spanish Trip Finally Set Up....

Well, journey's end. This is more or less the end of my street



Another great day's ride, l really do recommend riding inland. Made a bit of a mistake riding rural roads, had a pretty bumpy stretch, but hit the N-211 at a place called Montalbán and found myself on a fast, smooth, traffic free highway with some great views. Superb. I did have to get through a convoy of tractors, a rally or demo? Then off onto A255 in Aragón which becomes CV14 in Comunidad Valenciana, my home county, as it were. Soon the placenames were getting familiar, another shower near Morella at 1,000 metres, but rode out of it. Managed a road pic today, on the CV14. Talk about a room with a view

 

Yesterday was the Sabbath so just nipped to the local supermarket to test run the old tank. Never seen it so thronged. I think folk were stocking up for el Clasico.
But today l took a wee jaunt into the hills towards Ares del Maestrat, an old hill town with a great route up and a café at the top.



...but it was closed! Nice view back down the road.

 

Then l thought, why not show you the town's big sister, Morella. Only about 15 miles further. Looked better than Saturday...

Just a couple of miles to home. Siesta coming on l think....
