Featured Thought I Would Start A New Thread About My Bonneville Sixty

Just thought i would show of my new T100 Bonneville sixty. I have now cleaned it up and got rid of the most of the rust on the wheels which will need rebuilt before long

 

@Helmut Visor Yes it has and the John Bloor signed worksheet. Every thing still with it. The Blue panels and guard are all boxed as was taken of at new. As i say it had rust wheels and spokes but if memory serves me right they all had the same problem and it is nothing a rebuild won't cure. Thanks for looking and the encouraging comments.

 

@Fartomany Yes i have looked for a chrome rear guard. But with no avail. I may later on buy a standard one and have it chromed.

@Sandi T Thanks for that. You are still my best friend. Yes Tracy is my star. Was thinking about a little old two stroke the other day but only thinking.

 

Well peeps i had the T100 out today about one hundred mile and it ran a treat. But with only two and a half thousand miles its just run in. Only fault i find is the hard tyres still being the OEM Metzler's. But very pleased. So now if you see any bits i may like please let me know. Like saddle bag rails chrome ear guard rad guard and other bits.

 

@Helmut Visor No mate don't intend to change anything that can't be put back on. Even the seat i am picking a second seat Friday which i want to get padded a little more.

 

@Martine My friend still has the donor seat and he will do something to make it sittable for me. He has done one before for me and i was very pleased. Will let you all know when he comes back to me.

 

Well peeps i think perhaps you are all right. I went to Bulldog today about my wiring fault. And guess what yes i traded it. We actually looked at their Demo bike and it was exactly the same as mine even worse and less miles. But what do you think of this. I should pick it up in a week or so. I was talking to them about bike sales and they said they were busier than ever. Sorry peeps i have tried all ways to download the picture i wanted to show you but it not playing ball tonight. Will have to wait till i get the bike home and take some photos with my phone. Sorry to keep you waiting
