Just completed my first 600 miles, so i had to perform an oil and filter change. Did everything myself since the closet dealership is 17 hours away. I tried to reset the service interval using TuneECU app (paid license) and this Bluetooth device https://veepeak.com/products/obdcheck-ble without any success. App and device seem to work together fine, i get every sensor reading but when i run the service reset, it seems like the device gets DC from the ECU.

Has anyone successfully reseted the service interval is this model?

So i have some news. I used this https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-lx/ alongside the latest version of Tune ECU. It worked like a charm. At this point i have no idea if it was the module's fault or an upgrade of Tune ECU was necessary. Hopefully this will help other owners.

I'm taking my gt pro through to Edinburgh on the 21st for it's 1st service, will get the service reminder reset, ask them to forget setting it for a yearly reminder and have it in miles,my bike spends most of the year in the garage.its taken 8months to reach 550miles.the last 50odd miles will be the run through to Edinburgh. I'm not having that bl×××y light start again in October.

Ask them to set a date like 2055 for a service, as I don't think it can be removed completely.

I'm not sure if they can set the service reminder at more than 12 months as 10k miles OR 12 months (whichever comes first) is a warranty requirement.
You can easily defeat the yearly reminder by setting the date wrong in the onboard clock. I've set mine one year back so it's at May 2024, even though the time is correct. Who needs a calender on a bike anyway?

Unfortunately, the closest dealership from where i live is 17 hours sail by ship. Service is not exactly something i can do in my day off work.

i also can’t rest the service spanner, very annoying but if you just change the year back in the date setting to 2024 it will then go out. It will come back on in a years time, not perfect but one way round the issue and will still remind you when the next service is due

    That's the device I have.
It works well on street twins, 765, and cars. Well worth the money.

Great,I'm glad you reminded me,I forgot that's what I did with my speed triple.i honestly wish the warning light would just come on if it has to,not continually flash, and interrupt viewing the clock,it's very distracting, and dangerous.

Yeah, this works with the date but not with the mileage, once you hit 600 miles, the light won't turn off by changing the date.
