With the Grand Meet Up comming up I though I would start a thread where you could reccomend camping equipment.

I will kick it off with these two items which I think are fantastic.

    Redverz Atacama Expedition Tent

It's quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's much larger than the competition but packs down smaller and lighter than most to 22" X 9" and only weights 13 lb. The most important thing to me after being waterproof is being able to stand up in the tent and you can in this one. You can even store your bike in it as well.

    CAMTOA Folding Chair

At £27 from Amazon this is a great buy. It packs up very small easily fitting in a top box or Paniers.

Let's hear about products you reccomend.

Hi Rooster I've got the Redverz tent and love it. Wife and I camped for a week at the Isle of Man TT last year with it. It packs down small for on the bike yet I can stand up inside (6 FT 3 inch)
Here is a vid I shot using it for the first time camping in Wales

Looking forward to using it. It arrived today and I tried to fit it in my 55lt Givi Trecker Top Box - and it did.

Like the video of your wife putting up the tent. I will have to train mine to do the same.

Not camping equipment but certainly a space saver when touring.

King of Shaves. You can get up to 100 shaves out of this little 20 ml bottle.

You can but it on Ebay.

Blow up mattress. It's a must have.
Other than that any good quality 4 man tent. Sleeps 2 nicely but leaves plenty of space for your belongings as well

agree need a good tent (khyam Biker) blow up mattress, and 12v pump to use on the bike, unleaded stove cooking kit, cup and plenty of coffee and bacon and of course a good sleeping bag is a must. and a large dry bag for storage.
