Hi everyone, Soon to be Triumph owner here in (currently!) sunny Suffolk, UK. Avid two-wheeler and have come through many makes from Hyosung, Yamaha, Honda and more recently BMW - Triumph is next on the list! I ride all weathers and given a choice will pick two wheels over 4 any given day - but the number of issues I've had with my R1200 the last year are driving me crackers so looking to get swapped out to a Triumph in the short term. Happy to be here and looking forward to the next adventure
@FeralSquirrel Welcome to the family. Do let us know what you get. And you won't be unhappy with a Triumph. Let us have a picture by hitting the upload a file button bottom and give us all a big smile
Aiming at either a 1050 or Explorer - preferably the latter! I usually ride a GSA so the extra weight shouldn't be an issue but definitely fancy the extra comfort of the Explorer, especially with setting my sights on another trip in to Europe this Summer if I can squeak in the change of bikes beforehand! Lots to choose from, just sounding out what to keep an eye out for with any tricks and faults to avoid from different years/models. Quite like my analogue older bikes so probably won't be anything more recent than a 2015 model of either.
Welcome to the group! I also live in Suffolk and love the abundance of beautiful biker roads in the region! Triumph fanatic - had Tiger 885 (Steamer), Tiger 955i (2), Tiger Explorer 1200 launch model, Street Twin 1200, and currently a Tiger 850 Sport… Not even considering my next one as I love the 850 with a passion!
