I'll soon be looking for a Thruxton (2016-2019 model) and want black wheels

What other bikes' wheels would fit?

I've heard the Speed Twin wheel are a straight swap (and idea what specific year?) - any others? I'd prefer spokes, but cast are fine (and due to them being tubeless, not a bad alternative)

Could you not just get the ones on the bike you end up with powder coated black?

I’ll be looking into that as well, but it means finding a specialist to dismantle the spoked wheels, then I’d get the hubs and rims coated/painted, then pay to have them respoked… could end up expensive and a hassle, hence looking at a wheel swap option too.

    Hi @Stinkerbill
Same as you I wanted spoked black wheels on my Thruxton, so I had them powder coated and rebuilt.
I can recommend a wheel builder in Eccleshall, Staffs if required, he’s fairly local to me but wheels can be shipped anywhere.
Alternatively to save you the hassle I could sell you my Thruxton with the work already done?
    This is currently for sale……

Not yet ready to buy, but after a grey one anyway. Would like your wheel guy's details though
