    Hello from SW OH USA.

Picked-up my first ever Triumph off my neighbor. I couldn't stand looking at that black beauty just sitting on a center stand in his garage. He stopped riding it after laying it down. I sold the V-Strom and bought the Tiger (couldn't keep 'em both- have other toys). The V-Strom with Givi box was a more practical daily ride but it didn't have enough beans for my liking. Also my uncle started out on Tigers and Bonnevilles back in the mid 1960s. He is the one who turned me onto motorcycles- so its my turn for a Brit bike. He took me to Camel Pro races and I watched Gary Nixon race his Triumph against the HD XRs.

I've owned alot of bikes (see about me) but none have had the sweet sound of this one (except maybe the Interceptor.) Still trying to figure out how to bungee a tent, sleeping pad and duffle onto it.

Sorry for the delayed intro. I have been enjoying the site for awhile

    Cheers- Monte

Hi Monte, welcome aboard. She looks nice, any damage after the lay down? As for more capacity for gear, maybe a rack?

    Thanks for the welcome.
The previous owner is a BMW Auto master technician. There is zero indication of the bike ever being down. I didn’t drill him for details of the lay down as the bike looked and sounded great.
I have a history of buying UJMs and this bike has me befuddled. Example- where do I hang my helmets D ring and lock my helmet to the bike? Also still trying to dial in the suspension, she’s a rough rider. Being a dirt rider I find myself standing on the pegs a good bit when cruising rural backroads. The original owner put a high dollar Penske shock on the back. Trying to find a manual for it online. Love that motor though.
