You can buy an Oxford power block with integrated relay so that the accessories are NOT powered when the engine isn't running.

I have thought about one of these for my Kove but you can also get voltage protected heated grips now, that automatically switch off at a certain voltage.

The problem is there is practically nowhere to fit one. There isabsolutely zero room under the seat or under the tank and there are no side panels. The bike also doesn't have a key ignition.
It comes with a permanently live starter button and an "ignition" relay senses output from the alternator when theengine spins over, operates and energises the ignition and EFI circuitry. I wired in an ignition key which isolates the startercircuit, purely for a bit of security when refuelling etc., otherwise anyone could just jump on, press the starter and ride off. It does have a crap steering lock, of sorts but it's aPITA to lock/unlock and could be easily broken.

Yesterday I lost a gift from my wife  which I wore for nearly 7 years. A bracelet in the look of a motorcycle chain. :sob:
After searching at several places I rode to a local dealer and bought me a new one. The old one was colored black and metal.
    Here is the new one.:)

Suzuki Burgman 400cc 08 reg and 8,600 miles on the clock.
The 900 Trophy seems to be getting heavier, laid it down a few weeks ago
and had to get help to pick it up ( I am nearly 80 )
This is my fifth Burg' , the first went to Croatia and back, the last went to San Marino, Tuscany and Slovakia.

I got new tires for my 2024 Street Glide a couple of weeks ago. I was running the Dunlop stock tires which were fine. At 11,500 miles, I decided to upgrade to Dunlop "American Elites" at the hearty recommendation of my dealership service writer. In the past I've run Michelin Commander II/III. I've put about 300 miles on the new tires since I got them and they are wonderful! A big improvement over the stock Dunlops--way better than just "fine"! I also like them much better than the Commander III's. And they were less expensive than the Michelin's, too. A bonus!

Just put a deposit down on a new Trident. It’s going to be a long couple of weeks before I get to take it home!

Black. I’m not overly keen on the ‘25 colour schemes. And it was in stock!

I seen a guy with some crash bar bags the other day, so I thought I would have a look. The ones he had were around £40. Had look and found a pair on Temu for £19 and though what the hell at that price I’ll give them a go. We will see how they perform and look when they arrive.

New brake pads front and rear. The old ones were the original ones from the bike being new in 2022. They lasted for over 16000 miles. Let’s hope the new ones last as long .

Bought this low mileage 2023 Honda CL500 today, replacing my frustrating time with the Triumph Speed 400 and my much missed CB500X.

It's smooth twin cylinder engine, size and weight all fit the bill perfectly. The race numbers may go, although I'm getting quite used to them now!!
