Good attendance by a large range of brands and models signing up at NV Motorcycles Triumph dealership
First stop for a water and gas for some, was the Red Fox tavern. The garden bar has had recent renovations and looked great. I was surprised how many riders had never been in this local
Next stop after a quick photo shoot, was a fiesty ride to the Kaiaua coast for lunch at Bay View hotel
Back to Oneil's bar (setup in a local engineering workshop) for Hangi, prizes and refreshments into the evening
Love that patch / event logo, @Dartplayer! I always enjoy reading about this event. Thanks for posting!

Wow, it sounds like you've been super busy, @Dartplayer! Glad things are going well and that you had a good weekend out with your peeps. Very cool that you're the Auckland President. Do we need to call you Mr. President now? Hope the new job is good, too. And speaking of good, it's really good to have you back posting on the forum again. I've missed you!
Love the photos! Those American cars are great! Must take a lot of effort to keep them in good shape so far from the parts dept at Ford and Chevrolet! Looks like a fun bunch riding. What was the big stainless kettle used for?
Hi @Rob the Scott, The Big Kettle is a steam cooker. This is to replicate the traditional Maori Hangi, which is food buried in a pit (umu) with hot stones/irons and trays of meat, vegetables, puddings and stuffing. They use smoke sticks/essence to create a similar taste. It is very popular in NZ and the pacific islands
