    Greetings all!

    Am considering a '71 T120RV with the hand-stamped V. SN is matching GE27254.
From what I can tell this is a low production model and that the hand-stamped V indicates a factory 5-speed.
    Can anyone confirm this?

In general, what are some things I should look for before I consider purchasing?

    Thanks in advance - Eric

@EGS Welcome to the family. Look for service history. Fire the bike up it may blow a white smoke that is fine for a cold bike but if it turns blackish it may need a rebore or valve stem oil seals. Still not major just work. Check the brakes are free and doing their job. If you get a good one it is a smile a mile and collects onlookers by the dozen. Do give us all a picture if you get it.

Thanks for the info. I've actually come across a '76 T140R for the same price and with the left side shift.
