My 2021 1200xc misbehaved today , battery warning light on few miles , then missfired cut out . Battery still has power to crank ,but wont fire ,very weak spark . Gut feeling its stator alternator ,or regulator rectifier has cooked it . Most triumph twin models have regulator rectifier just below headlight ,not to the scrambler 1200 . Any heads up where it is before i start stripping everything off .
mystery solved , took some finding . Behind rear splash guard . You need to remove rear fender ,ns fuse holder ,various screws ,and splash guard slides out the way ,i already had the exhaust and side panels off . Bloody riduculous place to put somthing that needs to be accesable . At least now i can get to it and start testing .
