When did Triumph stop signing the gas tanks? My 2022 Speedmaster Gold Line has no painter signature.

 

Though that was just done on specials

 

My bog standard 2017 T100 had painter's initials, so I thought was all of 'em.

 

As does my 2018 Street Cup, I'm pretty sure they were signing all the Modern classics at least.

Triumph's more recent tank designs have increasingly used straight lines and I was beginning to wonder if this was to get away with not painting the lines by hand.

 

It is only done on limited edition models, as Jo says Specials.
