well as i wont be riding the T100 during and bad weather and not much fun taking me boat out in foul weather iv gone and took up green laning should be fun
well i have a couple of mates who already do it ones in the trf and wants me to join and the other has a pal with a farm and access to lots of miles of Forrest and moorland in the borders of Scotland which is where we are going this weekend .see how it goes i haven't ridden off road since i was about 20. and 43 years of alcohol and food abuse since may have rendered my poor old bones off road unfriendly we shall see
what a brilliant weekend no broken bones aching yes but really enjoyed it and that 22 year old honda dragged my fat arse up steep inclines through mud and fast shingle forest trails and never missed a beat .can thoroughly recommend it even helped a stranded motorist who had drove into a ditch the first two pics were taken as i waited at the entrance to the forest trails to guide the rac in to her
Honda XR250, a great tool for green laning. I had a XR650R some years back which was a bit overkill TBH, being originally designed as a desert racer. It got stolen and I replaced it with a FE570 enduro which is brilliant. Living on the doorstep of the Peak District I also having access to some great lanes. I was in the TRF years ago but don't bother with it anymore. The FE is currently SORNED but will be back on (off) the road shortly for the Winter. I've been into off road riding for over 40 years but when I haven't done any for a few months it can be quite a work out! Great fun though.
