    Please help...

the other day i noticed that my brake light wasnt coming on when i used the front brake only (the rear brake works fine), anyone got any ideas as to what it could be from past experience?
The wiring loom is very tight around the headstock area, especially when moving the bars to the left and i can hear a creaking noise coming from the loom... could it be a wire broken/chaffed?

Any help appreciated... also while im on if anyone has a link to a wiring diagram for the street that would be great!

    Thanks

The micro switch on the lever would be the first thing I would check, make sure the switch has not seized and the wires are in place

Yep i would agree.. test the switch there should be a screw holding it, pull cables off short together , if light comes on you have found the fault.

Just as you said... removed the switch, shorted wires together with a paperclip and light came on. New switch bought from Bill Smiths in Chester (at a cost of £8.99 - gulp). and fitted now all ok.

Cheers for your help/input guys... any more probs i know where to come!

If you have the old one flush it through with WD40.. May bring it back to life..... Glad you got it sorted..

I just fixed mine by flushing it with WD40. You are a star mate, thank you.
