Hi to you all, I have been biking for over 50 years and have had a mixed bag of machines on the road in that time including 3 Triumphs. Have recently acquired a very nice 2010 Bonneville 865 SE and have been dipping into the forum picking up useful information and comments. Thought it was time to join in properly with everyone and I will check out the newbie page and find out how add some photos and more info.

Welcome! Glad to see you continue to enjoy riding. Will you ride from your home or take it to travel a bit?

    Do share some photos!

Thanks to all who have welcomed me to the forum or have posted all the information I have found to be so very useful.
Just need a bit of forum-savvy guidance regarding contacting a member about an item they had posted for sale. I believe that I sent them a reply by clicking on the appropriate button "post reply" but do I have to do something else to prompt a reply??
Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

@BeeJay: To get in contact directly with a forum member you just click on the picture/avatar of the member and click at "Start a conversation". Then a window for direct conversation is opened and only you two will be " in line".
For the reply to normal postings you are right.;)
To get a more *personally* touch of your reply you may use "@member name" too, like I did. Then the name of the member will be highlighted additionally.
