@Kaj Myller Usually get it from track days. Perhaps fast cornering in hot weather. But by the look of the centre it looks more like the bike has bee used for motorway type miles. And get some decent rubber on there it will transform the ride quality. Joe
Looks like either something got trapped between the tyre and guard or something is loose and catching the tyre. Looks like a gouge mark to me.
Definitely not down to cornering IMO, it's too uneven. Some sort if tyre contact damage. What is "ballring", or did you mean balling? I hope you did!
Has the hugger come loose? Which model is it? Could it be something to do with the center or side stand?
Damage apart, that tyre needed replacing looking at it, I have seen this a few times, the last time was when the bike was ridden over a cattle grid that had a damaged section, although I guess this is not the case for you, however the tyre looks like it has been ridden mostly on straight roads rather than ones with flowing corners, also it appears to have been subject to some harsh braking, get new tyres fitted of a type appropriate to your intended riding and style and enjoy your machine.
