I notice a unfamiliar issue when I pull away in 1st when the clutch/oil/engine is cold. It feels like a slight pulsating clutch... like it is warped slightly. After a short distance (1 km) everything feels 100% normal. I visited the dealer yesterday and he said it is characteristic of the Speed Twin 1200 - they all do it when cold and I do not have to worry about it. The bike has done 5000 km and was never abused in any way. Speed Twin 1200 owners here, do you agree with the dealer?? You find yours as described?

OK, I have a 1200 Scrambler and the clutch is faultless. Is the clutch any different to that on a ST? I've had 2 Street Scramblers and the clutch on the 2nd one never felt quite as sweet as on the first one. From that I deduced that they can vary a bit from bike to bike.

I've got a new 2024 Speed Twin, now done just over 1,000 miles and haven't noticed anything like that.

I've covered 5000 miles on my Speed Twin since August 2023, Ive not had any problems with the clutch, very smooth.
