Hi there all! Right, thanks to @SuperHans and @Alan Gilbert for direction, i've now got the service manual available for free download. It's pdf and i find it easier to "ctrl+f" and the search for a keyword etc to help you find a topic. Or, find the page number and make a note etc.... https://drive.google.com/file/d/17IJKPkIGWemIgP-soT8IQO8S4Nu3n8Yg/view?usp=sharing
Thanks very much for doing this, very helpful. Quite frustrating though when one of the critical bits of information required is not there and the pictures in the manual do not match what's on my bike - which I have had from new so no user mods!! Anyway, a great help, thanks again.
Ask on the site and I’m sure a knowledgeable person will probably know about it!? There’s a lot of friendly people here with mountains of help! Welcome in and get asking!
Hi Guys, I know this thread was a couple of years ago but worth a shot anyway. I’ve got a Speed triple R 2017 from VIN 735337. I’ve been searching high and low for the workshop manual but simply cannot find one. Any ideas on where I can get my hands on one please? OR does the bike above differ that much mechanically from my speed triple R 17 because having a quick flick through doesn’t look too dissimilar, but I could be very wrong. im really stuck so any help would be much appreciated.
Hi @Cb2112, I would say this manual can be used (with care) for Speed Triple 1050 MY 2016 through to 2020. Although there will be some differences as the 2016/2017 is listed for 138bhp and the 2018 and later are listed for 148bhp. This site Triumph Speed Triple R 2016 vs Triumph Speed Triple RS 2018 (1000ps.com) lists some comparisons. Bore and stroke are the same, but e.g. compression is upped from 12 to 12.9 And like said before in this thread - in case of doubt, come back to the forum - someone will surely be able to help. cheers, Alex
