Mine comes from a project I worked on years ago with a Japanese company the project was called Matrix (before the film) and some of the Japanese staff used to ask for Mr Matrix when they rang for support lol

Mine came from when I was a lad. We used to call our mates "Mister" & then your 1st initial, hence Mister C. It's stuck for the last 40 years lol

my nickname used to be crippo ( derivative of my surname ) but it had to get changed when I worked on the Paralympics. for obvious reasons!!! no offence was taken prior to change but I did get some ribbing from some athletes.

Like most usernames we enjoy the choice of anonymity outside of what we do for real. And in this age of Cyber mind melting and everybody with a smart phone "Vlogging" their daily movements.
Mines simple I am a musician .... and "Colonel Ingus" seemed inappropriate.
    Peace .

Fork Lock: That device on the front fork of a motorcycle that, when engaged, locks the fork to left side, and prevents straight forward movement of the motorcycle, thus deterring theft.

When I was young, dumb and skinny (or at least dumber and skinnier than I am now) I had a tricked-out Sportster. I had straight handlebars (drag bars) on it. The mirrors were slung under the bar. The only problem with this arrangement was that when the handlebar was cocked the side and the fork lock was engaged, the left mirror would contact the custom painted fuel tank. My solution was to have a buddy cut off the stock fork lock and weld up a piece where I could lock the handlebar straight. It kind of defeated the purpose of a fork lock, but I figured it was better than no lock at all. One night we came out of a local watering hole, hell bent for leather, and headed off to the next bar. The ride was about seven miles and included several sweeping curves and a traffic circle (a roundabout to you Brits). When we arrived, I went to back the Sporty into a parking space only to find that I had never taken the padlock off the fork lock. I had ridden the whole way with the handlebars locked straight, only leaning to negotiate the curves and circle. My hooligan friends took note of this, and I was forever dubbed "Fork Lock." A name I earned.

I would be confused if I called myself anything else, I sometimes struggle to remember my own name, so it is simpler to use it, Tim

It's what my wife frequently calls out, so I've taken it as my name now. I'm actually a coffee drinker.

    Arctic fox ...

It is small (smaller than normal red fox), lives north, pale, and tough (surveying in harsh conditions). The climate change just can be too much for it. It is living on the edge.
