I'm looking for a main stand for my bike. The Street Twin doesn't come with one as standard but maybe someone has bought one, sold the bike but removed the stand before letting it go.
The official part from Triumph is probably the best but a new one is expensive. Aftermarket stands vary but I'll consider any make. Cheers.

I’d try to hold out for the OEM if you can, because it works really well.

Yes it's there but at the full Triumph price. I was hoping someone may have a used main stand kit surplus to requirements.

I have one from an 865 bonneville, is it the same part?

I'm pretty sure that the stand from the 865 isn't going to fit. Unless anyone knows differently, I reckon the frames from the Street Twin, T100 and T120 are the same and it's not the same frame as the 865.
    Thanks anyway Patchinko.

Thanks for that Paul. I saw the stand in Lithuania but when you add p&p plus Brexit-duty, and then add on the extra parts you listed, it doesn't work out any cheaper, in fact it could be more expensive than buying new. I'll keep looking.

Remind me why you're looking for T100 side panels? How are they different to the Street Cup or Street Twin panels? Other than the Bonneville T100 decal.

I hadn't realised the T100 panels were a different shape. I can see what you mean now and that Oxford Bonneville is lovely, especially in that blue colour scheme. The changes they've done work very well and it looks 'factory', unlike some custom cafe racers, which appear to have had a pile of mismatched after-market parts thrown at them. If I didn't already have 3 Jap sports bikes, with clips ons, I'd be tempted to go down that route.

It also looks like it's got a slightly larger tank, is that from the T100? They've fitted a floating front disc as well. I've just been looking at the EBC floating disc for the ST. I've got a Brembo 4-pot caliper and Free Spirit make a bracket to fit it to the OEM set up. It's not normally sold separately but I'm trying to negotiate a price with their office in Italy for the bracket only. If I get it I'll be fitting the EBC disc.

You mentioned the restricted cam in the 1st gen 900cc engine. Did you go for the TEC upgrade? You may already have covered this but I can't remember (must be an age thing!).

The EBC floating disc is £139 (I think) from Demon Tweaks, which is probably less than buying a Street Cup disc from Triumph.
Unfortunately I've just heard from Free Spirit in Italy that they won't sell the bracket separately, which is annoying, so I'm scuppered. I'll have another go at trying to persuade them before I stick the Brembo caliper back in it's box.
