20240209_101816.jpg A cordless angle grinder. Its from Hyundai Power products. I'm very impressed with their stuff, its good value for money and seems to work and last well. I have one of their petrol chainsaws too.

After 6 months of asking and searching I finally secured an extended clutch cable & brake line - 4 ". I thought they'd be common as dirt but not so much.

Got their 4" extensions & a set of 3" ROX Risers. Have been told by a couple of dealers the other stuff can be re-routed to gain enough slack to accommodate those. Got my fingers crossed!

wont have it for a month or so. i have a 1969 BSA thunderbolt to pull it.

complete except for the windscreen, which will remain missing for a while as its US$417.

but the windscreen and all the hardware is still available from watsonian.

Well, not actually bought but potential buy. Had a closer look at the new Scrambler 1200X today. I'm not a fan of the 1200XC/XE bikes, much preferring the look of the Street Scrambler but the new X version is much closer to that look. Apparently they've shortened the wheelbase and it has fewer (unnecessary?) gadgets and modes than the XE, plus they've dropped the gold Ohlins forks/suspension:grinning:. Not a fan of the TFT clocks TBH, they just look out of place on a retro classic IMO but that's what they all come with. Sitting on it also feels much loser to the Street Scrambler as they've lowered the seat height so much easier to get your leg over, not that I'm short in the leg dept. Might have to book a test ride.

I bought these a few weeks ago. eBay bargain, immaculate with just over 2000 miles of dry riding in them.

    IMG_3559.jpg

They're away for ceramic coating at the moment and I'll be fitting them soon:).

Well, I did buy the damn motorcycle!:joy: Here's the last thing I bought...a 2024 Harley-Davidson Street Glide. :grinning:

    IMG_7682.jpeg

My 2020 Street Glide Special had just enough miles on it that after another big summer riding season like we have planned would have put me over the mileage where my trade-in/sale price would start declining. Nice rationalization, eh? ;):joy: So our January Las Vegas trip to the Mecum Auction was my last hurrah on my 2020. It has been a terrific bike. But one of the cool things is that my Minnesota nephew, Eli, bought it! I'm so glad it'll stay in the family.

Eli's "new" bike is currently at our local dealership waiting to be picked up and delivered to Minnesota by a transport company called Haul Bikes. Here are both my bikes together in the service area on Saguaro H-D. Yep, another orange touring bike. This time around I'm going chrome.

    IMG_9666.jpeg

I rode over to the dealership on Saturday afternoon to put a deposit down on some parts I've ordered. When I pulled into the parking lot, who should be there but El Gordo, my Fat Boy! That bike is now owned and loved by my friend, riding buddy, and boss, Leila. :) She just had Viking bags installed and her hubby had just traded in his 2014 touring bike for a 2024 touring bike. Maybe it's contagious. :joy:

Good for you @Sandi T, life's not a dress rehearsal, you've got 1 shot at it, so make it count.
Looking forward to more great stories coming our way.
