    Just got the 02.
    14,00 miles.
looks brand new doing tires needed a fuel sender because it was leaking.
Runs good at idle but it stumbles till about 2500 RPM then clears out.
    Thinking about a pipe.
Got a Honda 1300 bike got a German BMW 800F
    Wanted some thing different.
    New to forum.
Don't want to have to big remap.
    All opinions welcome.

Hi Keith, the engine in your 2002 model is good with few faults, the rear hub bearings are a weak spot, that said 14,000 miles is nothing so all should be ok. The low revs rough running could be down to the machine just needing a service, I presume from the low mileage and that the fuel sender was leaking the bike has been laid up for a while, by a service I mean new plugs, air filter, oil change and new oil filter, new sump plug washer, and replace the 3 rubber seals (rocker box to the coil sticks), the middle spark plug is renowned for building up heavy corrosion due to water ingress through the middle seal, replace the fuel filter, don't pay extortionate Triumph prices, the BMW replacement is exactly the same and a lot cheaper, once you get the bike running as it should, then service the remaining items, strip and re grease the rear suspension, change fork oil, replace brake fluid, strip and inspect front/rear brakes and replace any suspect parts. There are a large number of aftermarket end cans available, most have removable baffles for a deeper sound, if just fitting and end can the machine will require no re mapping, make sure the battery is in top condition otherwise it can lead to issues with the sprag clutch, if in any doubt at all replace it and keep it on a trickle charge when not in use. Ride safe all from an ageing Rocker.

You were correct. Fuel sender had been replaced already and backyard repaired.Needed plugs all the stumbling is gone.
Put a new set tires and bar risers.
    Looking forward to riding it.
    Thanks for response
