I wanted some small saddlebags as the bike continues to evolve. I did have one of those little side bags but it wasn’t any real use. Didn’t fancy paying £150 or do, saw these on Amazon for £35 and put them on my Xmas list
That bike is evolving by degrees, into a modern version of my much-travelled, Meriden Thunderbird. Much the best British classic bike I ever owned, replaced by a 1974 BMW R60/6 which was just far superior, despite having led quite a hard life when it came to me.
