Hey folks! Just got my first Triumph in July this year. Went for a 2012 Street Triple 675 and loving the feel, sound and riding position. I've had a couple other bikes in my single days, honda's and yamaha's and returned to riding after hearing about my buddies amazing road trips. Basically I'm missing out on a whole lot of fun! It has an aftermarket slip on exhaust (not sure of the model), and 26K on the odometer. Ill be searching the threads for support, as I have had two issues to date: both weak turnover/crank and no start after riding 30-45 min (ie stop for gas). Never issues starting cold. The first time, I was stuck for a couple hours until I got a tow truck with a mobile boost pack to hook to my battery (he said , 'that's weird your battery says 12 volts'..) and bingo, fired right up and no further issues all weekend long ( we were on the road for two days up in Fenelon Falls area). Next was just the other day, stalled at an intersection and did the weak turnover thing but wouldn't start...pushed it to the side and waited 2-3 min and did a hail marry push of the start button, and boom, she fired up. Got my voltmeter ready for some testing today (quick check of the battery this a.m. showed 12.45 volts) Attached a pic from the road trip. Cheers Steve
Oh, and I replaced those mirrors (can see squat) with some bar end ones and, wow, a new world appears...
