Hello to all out there. My name is Rob Watkins based in Staffordshire UK. I have been involved with bikes for most of my long life, I was the youngest of 7 with 5 elder brothers, all into their motorbikes so it was obvious that I would follow in their footsteps. We lived in a country village with fields just over the road where we all rode our bikes. My first ride of a bike was a Triumph T100 scrambler, 500cc! with my brother on the back helping me, after a few months I progressed to solo riding starting and stopping by my brother so he could hold the bike up, I couldn't reach the floor but could reach the footrests. At the age of 7, my brother got me my first bike, it was a Triumph tiger cub which I used for a couple of years, maintaining it with my brothers help. In my retirement I enjoy saving bikes from the scrap heap that no one else seems to want, I have done mainly classic Yamaha air cooled bikes but I do fancy going on to old British, first choice Triumph. I have 2 sons of which the younger one enjoys helping me, he has a few bikes of his own, his pride and joy is an original 1982 RD Yamaha 125lc, historic so no mot or tax, in excellent condition. I want to get him onto an old British bike to show him what he has been missing. Having a clear out of my garage, I came across a real nice pair of exhaust silencers from a Triumph, my son gave me these a few years ago but we don't know what they are off, they are stamped, Triumph 2202545, anyone who knows what they are off please let me know, they have no scrapes and good chrome so I wont scrap them, their too good. I will keep you updated on next project.

Hi, thanks for all of your kind welcomes. I have downloaded a picture of on of my resto's. Tank and seat hand made in my garage. Most of the bike was missing when I got it so I made it into a race replica.
