Yesterday my wife and I started our tour at 0700 in the morning. We crossed the main part of Austria and rode through 4 provinces to Berchtesgaden in Germany. There we rode on the "Rossfeld Panorama Straße" across the wonderful landscape of the historic burdened "Obersalzberg". After some culinary highlights we went back home on an northern part of Austria. At 1715 we arrived at home back again. @Mrs Visor: Yes, we had enough rain too . 80 km in the morning and the last 40 km back home. The rest of the day was great! In the following some impressions.
@Markus that looks absolutely beautiful. I knew you must have had rain, because I had a totally dry couple of hours on the bikes today so it must have been your turn .
Please don't think for one moment that I'm because I'm not, I'm not honestly Oh stuff it. Yes I am. Glad you both had a great time. What a great way to spend your day.
Beautiful photos (of the sunny weather)! Love the Tromp L'Oeil on the building and the view of the mountain and valley! A bit of rain hopefully meant that you stopped for a break. Thanks!
I can't believe that the Rossfeld Panorama Straße is only a couple of hours from me but I've never heard of it before! And it looks like a superb place to ride. If I hadn't already planned a trip to Mattighofen (KTM) next week, I'd be heading there for sure.
What gorgeous scenery and landscapes, @Markus! Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful photos with us. Enjoy!
Fabulous scenery I'm not jealous at all - first time for us in Austria last month, but only to Vienna by train, so not the bike sadly. (Interrailing at our age! )
