Hello all. As the title says, I pick up my 2014 Thunderbird LT 1700 in lava red/phantom black on Wednesday. Getting it from a HD rider that says it is too much for him. I haven't been on a bike in a couple of years. The last one was a Goldwing. I ruined a shoulder (not motorcycle related) that needed surgery and a long bit of therapy. Sold the GW since it was going to take a while and could use the money. Now I'm ready to ride again. The Thunderbird is a bit lighter than a GW so it will be easier on the shoulders. I will also enjoy having a 6th gear on the highway.
Welcome from a Yank up in Jersey. 2018 Speedmaster here, bought new in 2020. I'd have probably gone for a T-Bird or the America if Triumph still made them. Good luck with your Triumph.
