Hello everyone.. I bought this nice 2009 Sprint ST1050 late last year, clean & lowish miles (13K). My first Triumph, after owning various Japanese & Italian brands over the years. I plan to do some long-distance touring with it this Summer. I'm doing the 12K mile service myself, at least most of it...not sure whether to tackle the valve check, or leave it to a dealer. I'll look in the tech forum for appropriate advice. I replaced the Delkevic aftermarket exhaust with the stocker, if anyone is interested in it, let me know... Now, let's see if i'm able to attach a photo.. i'm not much good when it coms to IT stuff, would rather be working on the bike!
Black is ok, but not my favorite color really.. I had a two Tuonos, as well as an RSV1000. Here's my first, an '07 Factory. I kind of miss it..
Thanks! It'll be a while yet before the Black Bomber is rideable, as you can see.. Just as well, since the weather here in NY State is still pretty miserable.
