I want to give shout out to Bulldog Triumph in Winnersh for some great service. In 2020 I purchased a new T120, nine months later is would not start so was recovered by the dealer I purchased it from and the issue was diagnosed as a faulty ECU, which was replaced. The fault then repeated itself and the bike was recovered a second time. On this occasion I was informed by the dealer that the bike started as soon as they put it on the ramp and that they cannot find any fault with this. This despite the fact that they were provided with a report from an RAC technician detailing all the fault codes that his diagnostic reader found. Four weeks ago the problem raised it's head for a third time. On this occasion I spoke with Bulldog Triumph and asked if they would assist as I had lost faith in the supplying dealer. Andy took on the problem, collected the bike and liaised with Triumph. The issue was found to be a faulty throttle body and which was changed under goodwill (As the bike was technically out of warranty although this issue arose before the warranty expired) and the bike delivered back to me. Many thanks to Andy in the Service Department at Bulldog Triumph for all his help.
Awesome guys at Bulldog. I've been using them for many years and bought a number of Triumphs from them (latest one being a Tiger 1200 GT Explorer last summer). I wouldn't go anywhere else and thoroughly recommend them. @MEM62 - Glad they got you sorted.
Me too. My faith in the brand and love for the bike is at an all time low. I seriously considered just getting rid of it but I hope now that I can get some miles on it this summer and enjoy it.
Well, at the height of the issues I was having with the Bonnie I would never have thought that I would buy another Triumph. However, after Bulldog sorted it the Bonneville has been OK and I found myself in their showroom last Saturday ordering a Tiger 850. That's quite a turnaround!
They did the same for my Bonnie that someone had butchered. Then i traded it to them for the four hundred and got a great deal.
