Hello from stateside where it is definitely not the riding season, but you can smell it. Looking forward to riding my new to me 95' Trophy 3 900.
Thank you all for all the welcomes. Newbie question. How long or how many posts till my posts don't need moderator approval?
Welcome from a fellow Yank. Just north up the pike from you in South Jersey. As to your question, I can say with absolute authority, I don't know. Maybe you are on double secret probation.
Greetings and welcome to the forum, Tony! I'm a Yank also and hail from Arizona. You might check in with @Havit, our Admin, to get an answer to your question regarding moderator approval. Also, most of us here on the forum love motorcycle photos so please post a couple of pics of your Trophy!
I'll take more pictures after I've had a chance to clean all the tape residue off. PO's idea of maintenance was duct tape.
I rode my bike in Northern New Jersey a week ago (50 degs). As long as you learn to dress right, you can still find a day now and then that would be ok. That should be especially true since you have a windshield (mine stops below my chin). Watch for cold tires and asphalt though: your traction will be reduced. I found that out on a 39 deg day a month ago. Pulling out of a parking lot, accelerated across a heavily painted stretch of road (yellow stripes) and lost the rear tire. No fun watching the bike spin away from you while you are sitting on your arse in the middle of the street!
Heard. This time of year I try to not be too enthusiastic in the curves as sun to shade can make the blacktop downright cold.
